OCP Candidate Agreement

Which courses are for me?

You are here:

Home OCP Candidate Agreement

Before sitting an OCP exam, you will be required to agree to the ORACLE CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM CANDIDATE AGREEMENT. This agreement basically outlines your rights once you have passed the chosen exams and officially been entered into the OCP program.

To summarise, you:

  • Have the right to call yourself an OCP as long as you are an OCP or until the agreement has been terminated for whatever reason.
  • Can use the OCP logo on your resumes and business cards but there ends your right to the logo. When you use the logo, you must do so within the constraints set out by Oracle.
  • Will not use the logo unprofessionally so as to damage Oracle's reputation.
  • You will not disclose any information relating to the OCP exams even if this agreement has been terminated.
  • Will not cost Oracle any legal damages as a result of your membership in the program.
  • Are not in a partnership or Joint Venture of any kind with Oracle.

Note: Reading this summary does not mean you have read the official contract.
